Life Action 2

We are still alive and at Life Action! Well, I'm not there right now, I am home taking a day off.
So how are you all doing after the storm on Friday night? Our house is fine, we didn't even loose our power. But while I was safely at home Heather was at LA. Their blob tower has fallen, and broken, the dock was partly disabled, and a big tree fell across the road. Not only that, but the electricity went out, and it still out to this moment (which isn't very good because we have many summer staff plus 27 families.). They are running on several generators, and praying that the electricity will come on tomorrow.

Now for some pictures, just a few. This is home sweet home for us housekeepers...the laundry room! :)

The Blob (before the storm)
Everyone loves the blob, it is a big highlight.

Lily pads! These are in the pond that is in front of the lodge. I love the reflections!

Sunsets! I love them so much, because as I said before, we hardly ever see them from our house...

not to mention they are twice as pretty on a lake!

Life Action

This past week and for the next 7 weeks Heather and I are doing housekeeping at Life Action for Family Camp. We go to the camp on Monday mornings and stay there until Saturday afternoon with one afternoon/evening to come home and rest during the week. We mainly clean bathrooms and clean up after meals. It definitely keeps us busy! Here is a picture of the lake after sunset that the camp is on.So, that is all. Hope you all are enjoying your summer so far!

Babysitting At Life Action

Last night Heather and I babysat at Life Action. The first week of August we babysat all week for Revival Week (every morning from 8:30 to 12:30). I helped in Sunshine (ages 2-3) and Heather helped in the nursery, Sunshine and Base Camp (ages 7-12). Last night Heather got to experience being the teacher of Happy Heart City (ages 4-6) and I helped. It was actually
lots of fun, and the kids were so cute. This one actually should be at the end but I accidentally deleted it. I took
this while the kids were playing Doggy Doggy Where's Your Bone. Coloring a picture of a little duckling after the story

We had whales for snacks. This boy would throw the whale into the air
(way behind him) trying to catch it in his mouth. :)

No they aren't brother and sister. I think they said they were neighbors.
Pulling up his pants.:)
Working on puzzles.
