Fall Party!!!

Last night was our fall party! We all had great time. We always dress up and this year Mrs. Dobson thought of doing fall colors (red, brown, orange and yellow). When everyone arrived there was more brown then red, orange and yellow put together. :) First we ate supper then played games.

The table decorations were very pretty

Tug-of-war, the men first, then the ladies and all the way down to 7-12-year-olds.

Teen girls, this one went on for a while before the whistle was blown.
No one was able to grab the pumpkin.
The little ones got to play a game too. They had to roll the pumpkin
across the gym and run back:)

When Pastor Dobson asked for volunteers Emily and John were more then willing. But that could have changed when Pastor Dobson said that we would be dressing them up as a scarecrow. This is Emily before she was dressed up.

And the finished product! :)

Fall Picture

Mom took this picture last year at Warren Woods. I thought I'd share since it is so pretty. I think, maybe a new post (more interesting post) will come soon.

Turkey Run

On Friday morning we left for Turkey Run and got there around 11:30. The Cowden's and Noonan's were there already and the Hageman's, Bennett's and Baloses came later that day. Actually to be honest we did not go camping in a tent (or pop-up or anything). We stayed in one of the cabins beside the Inn. Though it would have been more fun if we could have slept in a tent, I still enjoyed our time there very much! Turkey Run is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been (I think). It's amazing! The trails are beautiful. Here's a fraction of the pictures that Mom took.

While I was walking I was watching the ground and saw this millipede. Kenny carried it around on the trail for a while until it fell in the rocks while he took the next picture.

I Just Bought This CD...

...and I love it!!! I sent the order out on Saturday and got it back the next Saturday. I was so surprised/happy and very impressed at how quick they were (I know they are busy...). Well to be honest I do not personally know the Wissmann family, but I have been visiting their blog for at least a year or two now and I thought it was time to buy one of their Cd's. As I said, I love it! Well, just thought I'd say that. Co-op has been keeping me VERY busy! Now a days I have not even time to do my other school (math, english, literature, geography). Latin is what's really keeping my busy. Biology isn't too bad and Spanish is easy. :) I really like my Spanish teachers. :) The helper is very fluent in Spanish and I think will be a big help to me personally.

Babies!!!

Molly had three kittens on Saturday/Sunday. And Mom ordered 25 baby chicks (Banties of all kinds). Actually though, we only have 22 (one died on the way over) for some reason. But that's okay because 25 was a lot of chickens anyway (no matter how small they are). I am not sure how we are gonna fit all of them in our chicken coop.
Though the kittens don't smell as bad, and don't make nearly as much noise, the chicks are more playful and fun to watch. : )
